Bayou Magazine is a nonprofit journal for the arts, dedicated to presenting exceptional, original writing by both emerging and established writers. If you would like to support the future success of the journal, please consider making a donation to become a Patron ($1000), Benefactor ($500), Friend ($250) or Supporter ($100) of Bayou Magazine. For each of these levels, we will honor your support in the business pages of each issue, thank you here on our website, and gift you a multi-year subscription. Donations at any level are appreciated and possible through the below instructions. As part of theĀ University of New Orleans Foundation, all donations made to us are tax deductible.

To donate online

  • Click here to go to the donation page on the UNO Alumni and Friends website
  • Select or type in the level of donation you would like to make
  • In the drop-down menu next to “Designation,” select “Liberal Arts”
  • Do NOT select an option in the drop down menu labeled “Fund”
  • In the field labeled “Other,” type in “Bayou Magazine Raeburn Miller Fund”
  • Make sure to fill out all remaining fields before clicking the “Donate Now” button to ensure your donation is properly attributed.

To donate via mail

  • Make your check payable to the UNO Foundation
  • Write “Bayou Magazine Raeburn Miller Fund” in the memo field of your check
  • Please include a letter or brief note letting us know if you’d like to make the donation anonymously, in your own name, or in the name of someone else
